Dr. Julie Stanek has wanted to be a veterinarian as long as she can remember. Born in Northern Illinois she moved to Texas as quickly as possible and is still thawing out. She graduated from Texas A&M Veterinary School of Medicine in May 1994. She bought Centerville Road Animal Clinic in 2003.
In her spare time, Julie trains and competes in flyball, agility, herding and obedience with her Border Collies, Metro and Derby. Julie is also owned by two cats, Bug and Panther who are immensely entertaining.
Josh Sanchez joined the CRAC staff in July 2004, having graduated from Rowlett High School in May. Although starting as a kennel assistant, Josh quickly became CRAC's primary dental Veterinary Assistant.
Spare time for Josh is spent body toning at the gym, jogging, poolside lounging, and enjoying home-cooked meals with his mother, teenage brother and sister. Quite the music buff, Josh's absolute songstress crush is undisputedly Christina Aguilera!
Samantha Dale became a member of our team at the beginning of 2015 after wanting to pursue a career in the veterinary field. She graduated from Terrell High School in 2012 and is the proud mother of 3 children. Samantha (Sami) really enjoys working with animals and is eager to help our clients. We are glad to have Sami here as a part of our animal loving family!
Anissa Littlefield joined our team in 2016. Anissa enjoys taking care of our clients' pets. Anissa likes to compete in multiple venues in the dog show world. Her dogs have fun in conformation, lure coursing, dock diving, and weight pull in which she also is a UKC Judge! She really enjoys working in the veterinary field.
Brenda Wilson was born in Louisiana, but has claimed Dallas as home since she was a toddler. Brenda joined the CRAC staff in 1981, and hails as the accountant and the Saturday Receptionist. Having graduated from SMU with both BS and MS degrees in Economics, as well as having taught Economics at Brookhaven College for 25 years, she is certainly more than qualified to 'crunch the CRAC numbers!'
Long distance travel, especially to Europe, crocheting and revitalizing her 'seasoned' Red Oak retirement dream home constitute Brenda’s productive leisure time. A favorite destination, for long weekend getaways, is the scrubby, mountainous scenery of New Mexico and the plethora of remote bed and breakfast inns. Finally, her furry family in Garland consists of 4 feral cats that she has tamed…sort of….or vice versa!
Bud passed away in January 2015 and is still missed by our staff and clients.
